When the spotlight shines particularly brightly, one action-packed scene follows another, and there is even more movie magic in the air than usual, then the most Hollywood-esque birthday party of the year is on the shooting schedule: Movie Park Germany is celebrating 30 years of park and film history this year! An anniversary season full of highlights brings the world of film to life with plenty of Hollywood glamour at Germany's largest film and leisure park.
Summer will be glamorous, as Movie Park Germany celebrates its 30th birthday on July 4, 2026, with a big anniversary party lasting into the late evening hours – including a special program, music, and a touch of nostalgia.
As a special highlight, the new “Movie Park's Parade of Celebration” will celebrate its official premiere. The parade will feature large, movie-worthy floats in an even more American-inspired concept. With the help of renowned choreographers, a 20-minute show journey through the world of film will be created, complemented by show stops, choreography, glamorous Hollywood costumes, and new parade music with live vocals – a true Hollywood experience on the boulevard.
The Belgian company Kabuki is responsible for directing and designing the new parade floats, which combine classic Hollywood glamour with modern elements. IMAscore is providing the new soundtrack, while Full Stop Productions and Costume Studio from the USA are contributing high-quality costumes that give the anniversary parade its typical American glamour.
In its anniversary year, Movie Park Germany is strengthening its family entertainment offering with a new Nickelodeon Street Show, which will be touring Nickelodeon LAND with four colorful parade floats starting in spring. Chase and Marshall from PAW Patrol will be making their grand entrance on two new parade vehicles.
SpongeBob and Patrick will also be on the move with two nautically designed floats, bringing lots of fun, soap bubbles, and starfish with them. The show will be complemented by walking characters, Team Nickelodeon, and a feel-good soundtrack—an additional highlight for the park's large family area.
In the 2026 season, Movie Park Germany will celebrate the premiere of a new exclusive Paramount attraction: Journey to the Forbidden Chamber. The realistic film studio experience with various sets, props, and show elements emphasizes the motto “Hollywood in Germany” and allows guests to immerse themselves directly in the filmmaking process at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles as extras.
P&P Projects is responsible for the theming and design of the new immersive tunnel attraction and will ensure an authentic Hollywood atmosphere. Journey to the Forbidden Chamber replaces The Lost Temple and is scheduled to open in mid-May. The new film was produced exclusively for Movie Park in November 2025 at Paramount Studios in LA. Further details will follow in a separate press release.
Movie Park Germany is expanding its family offerings this summer and will be the first amusement park worldwide to feature a total of seven PAW Patrol characters. Chase, Marshall, Rubble, and Skye will now be joined by Zuma, Rocky, and Everest. The popular dogs will not only be available for meet & greets, but will also be integrated into the entertainment program.
“The strong demand and positive guest feedback make it a no-brainer for us to continue expanding the PAW Patrol world,” explains Managing Director Thorsten Backhaus. “This strengthens our profile as a family destination and creates unique experiences for our target group.”
In spring, the themed emergency vehicles will also return to Adventure Bay as photo points, so that children can once again take a seat in Chase's police car or Skye's helicopter. Movie Park is thus expanding the existing themed world around the attractions “PAW Patrol Adventure Tour,” “Zuma's Zoomers,” and “Skye's High Flyer.”

In 2026, Movie Park Germany will continue to focus on exciting special events that highlight the film park's character and American identity. The ELITE Cheerleading Championship and the ELITE Stunt & Dance Championship will once again bring national and international athletes to the park for competitions. Camera Day will also return, offering fans, content creators, and photographers exclusive photo and video opportunities on a closed day. The US Car Show and “Spotlight – Your Car in the Spotlight” will also provide cinematic variety.
Illusionist Christian Farla will present a new magic show with a fresh theme in the summer – further details to follow.
In addition, Movie Park Germany is expanding its show offerings with three new in-house productions:
“There is no business like show business,” and Hollywood's dream factory also comes to life in the evenings: on July 25 and August 1, 8, and 15 during the summer holidays, the park will extend its opening hours until 8 p.m. to celebrate Summer Nights with its guests with cocktails, live music, and special food and drink offers.
